Lalande,Jean Guy - Went gently into the night
holding his wife's hand on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the age of
65. Incredibly proud member of the NATO forces in Germany from
1961-1964. Loving and loved husband and best friend of Miriam (nee
Wood). Devoted father, father-in-law and grandfather to Keri; Jaime,
Steve and Raphael Ohan; and Darlene, John, Shannon, Chloe, and
Jack.Caring son of Lillianand son-in-law of Isabelle. Survived by
brothers and sisters Patsy (Claude), Vicki (Ross), Ron (Sylvia),
Albert (Jacqueline), Judy (Brian), Nicole (Peter), Michael (Delora)
and Joce (John). Sadly missed by sister- and brother-in-law Kim &
Terry and many, many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Isabelle,
Aunt Toni and M.J., and to good friends Marion & Phil, Linda &
Dave, and Mushie & Brian for their incredible support through
this difficult time. To Dr. André Berdnikoff and the CLSC
(Lachute), thank you so much for your attentiveness to Jean. In lieu
of flowers, donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital may be made.

I am so sorry for Miriam and the rest of the
family. I feel like all
the rain this summer was all of us at the lake
mourning the impending loss of our friend. It suited our sombre mood.

This is a sad day. He was such fun to be with and
would do anything for anyone. This really hit home and is a real eye
opener for all of us to live life as it can be taken away in a short
time. He’ll really be missed

That is very sad news. John was a good and true
friend that would do anything for you. He had a great life, but much
too short. We will all miss him.

I did not know him as well as you and Bill but he
seemed to live his life to the fullest and enjoy every moment. What
more could you ask out of life. You and Bill have known him a long
time and I am sure you will miss his sense of humour camaraderie and
